Our spacious Function Hall is an adaptable space which can be furnished and arranged to suit your event.
During your stay our Function and Games Hall may be available for your use if requested. Formerly the Assembly Hall when Brown Rigg was a camp school the original dance floor is still in place!
The Hall is spacious with plenty of chairs and tables available, which you are welcome to arrange to suit your needs. There are toilets and a kitchen area, and the stage can be made available by prior arrangement for performances.
Fully accessible, wheelchair users can access the Hall via a ramp leading to a pair of wide doors.
Great for a rainy day or just to chill out in the evenings you can play table tennis and pool. There is also a selection of board games, toys and books for you to enjoy.
Group Catering
The small Function Hall Kitchen is perfect for making teas and coffees for your meeting, or preparing food for your group. It is equipped with a cooker, halogen hob, microwave, fridge/freezer and a dishwasher.
For groups staying at Brown Rigg, we have a fully equipped catering facility and can provide you with a variety of refreshments and meals, from pizzas to hot buffets, afternoon teas to barbeques, just contact us to discuss your requirements.
