A residential event for families and friends in the Northumberland Dark Sky Park with meals and accommodation included.
Two nights and three days of astronomy family fun, staying in a luxury Lodge or Guest Room inside the Northumberland International Dark Sky Park. Learn about, space, the stars and planets from professional astronomers with extensive knowledge and years of experience.
StarFest is suitable for most families, if you have very young children or someone with disabilities then please contact us to discuss suitability and any special arrangements needed.
Your ticket includes:
Astronomer led activities on Friday, Saturday and Sunday which include:
- 2 x stargazing talks;
- 2 x night-time stargazing sessions;
- 3 x workshops; and
- Other activities tbc.

2-nights’ accommodation in one of Brown Rigg’s luxury Lodges or Guest Rooms:
- You will stay in one of Brown Rigg’s well equipped and comfortable Lodges or Guest Rooms;
- All bedrooms sleep 2 people. You will only share a bedroom with someone from your family or group.
Breakfast, lunch and dinner throughout your stay, comprising:
- Breakfast on Saturday and Sunday;
- Lunch on Saturday and Sunday;
- Dinner on Friday and Saturday; and
- Hot drink and snack during night-time stargazing sessions.
