Each of the four apartments provide :  

- Three bedrooms.

- Open plan lounge and kitchen area with comfortable space for up to six people.

- TV and DVD player.

- Kitchen with electric cooker, microwave, fridge (freezer compartment).

- All necessary cooking and eating equipment provided

- Bed linen is provided but please bring your own towels and toiletries.

- Two of the apartments have wheelchair access with appropriate doors and equipment fitted throughout.

Communal facilities on site :

- Very large assembly hall with table tennis, pool table and soft ball tennis.

- Picnic and barbecue area.

- Large tarmac courtyard for games and children's cycling.

Smoking is not allowed within the apartments and the other indoor areas but there are several designated smoking areas outside where you can relax. 

There is ample car parking. Two designated parking areas are provided for the disabled apartments.

 

 

Seasonal changes:

The accommodation has a top of the range central heating and hot water system and is heavily insulated in order to make your stay comfortable whatever the weather. Our games/assembly hall is ideal for wet days.

Cyclists and Walkers welcome:

We have a lock up with space for up to twenty four cycles or walking equipment, a washing station, basic spares and repairs equipment. There is a map room and a selection of books and brochures that show local routes. We can also purchase food or provisions, at cost,  in advance of your arrival should you desire.

 

Families welcome:

We have a safe and secure site that is ideal for children's play. There is also space to play indoors in the Games Hall and a selection of toys and games are available. There are some basic baby/ young child's items such as cot, small bed, high chair that you are welcome to use.

 

Pets welcome:

We welcome well behaved dogs, cats and other small pets. There is a large exercise area and some great walking locally. There is a £20 additional charge for cleaning after you leave (up to two dogs). We have some basic pet equipment such as bedding, leads and treats should you forget to bring anything.

 

Laundry/ drying room:

The laundry/drying room has one washing machine, two vacuum cleaners, two ironing boards and two irons available between the four apartments. Other basic items such as brushes, cloths, drying racks, mending kit, books, cleaning materials are available. There is also a rack where you can hang up wet boots and coats.

 

Spacious Apartments:

Each apartment can comfortably accommodate up to six people but it is also an enjoyable space for a couple to share. There are slight differences between the apartments; the following plans show the arrangements of beds, bathroom facilities and wheelchair access ramps.

   

 

 

 

 
 

Pennine offers wheelchair access, four single beds, one double bed, wide doors throughout and combined shower/ toilet room for wheelchair access.
 

The largest bedroom boasts a double bed (Not as shown), French doors with open views over the countryside to the West.

Pennine also has excellent views to the South over Ealingham Fell.

Cheviot offers two single beds, two bunk beds and one double bed. The toilet and bathroom are separate.

 

The main entrance to Cheviot is via a shared foyer with Tyne.  An additional private access door is provided in the Bunk bed room.
